Our Mission
FAA medical certification shouldn’t feel like a black box. Every year thousands of pilots delay or avoid their medical exams because they don’t understand the process, worry about a past diagnosis, or aren’t sure which medications are acceptable.
ClearedMed exists to change that. We provide free, plain-English tools and guides that help general aviation pilots prepare for their FAA medical exam with confidence — so they can spend less time worrying about paperwork and more time flying.

- Medication Checker — Look up any medication to see its FAA status, required wait times, and whether it needs special documentation. Sourced from FAA and AOPA references and updated regularly.

Privacy First
Medical information is personal. Our client-side tools — the Medication Checker and MedXPress Prep Assistant — run entirely in your browser. No health data is sent to our servers, no cookies are set, and nothing is logged. Your prep work stays on your device unless you choose to save it yourself.
