Account Information
When you create an account, we collect the information you provide through our authentication provider, including your name and email address. This is used solely to manage your account and provide our services.

- No medication search tracking. When you use the Medication Checker tool, we do not log, store, or track which medications you search for. Your searches are not tied to your account or any identifier.
- No data selling. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.
- No FAA connection. ClearedMed is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Federal Aviation Administration. No information you provide to ClearedMed is shared with the FAA or any government agency.
- No health records. We do not collect, store, or process any medical records, health information, or diagnostic data.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access to user data is restricted to essential personnel only. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we strive to protect your personal information to the best of our ability.
Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of trusted third-party services to operate ClearedMed:
- Clerk — Provides user authentication and account management. Clerk processes your login credentials and basic profile information. See Clerk's Privacy Policy.
- Neon — Provides our database infrastructure. Application data is stored on Neon's secure, encrypted PostgreSQL platform. See Neon's Privacy Policy.
We do not share your data with any advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics platforms that build user profiles.
Cookies
We use essential cookies required for authentication and basic site functionality. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that follow you across the web.
